Watercolor & Gouache

Brushes
Watercolor paints and brush quality varies a lot. I'll share both the paints/brushes I started with and the ones I'm currently using.

Paints
~Prima Marketing Watercolor sets: Confections Vintage Pastels Set, Confections Decadent Pies, Confections Tropicals

~Daniel Smith Watercolor tubes - Moonglow,
~Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor Paint Set - This is a professional Japanese watercolor, use a lot of water = traditional watercolor, less water = a gauche opaque watercolor. There's also smaller sets:  Kuretake Set of 12,  Kuretake Set of 18, Kuretake Set of 24
These are other sets I enjoy, these have been my current go tos:
Kuretake Art Nouveau - My first set and still my favorite!
 Kuretake Graphite - Fun!
Kuretake Starry Colors - I love my golds
Kuretake Granulating Colors - These are just magickal

Acrylics

Acrylic paints are really hard on brushes, I had to remind myself not leave them sitting in my water jar.  Even with good care a brush may last just a few months.
