Soul Journals ~
These are great for Art Journaling, sketching, collaging, etc...the possibilities of what they can be used for are limitless. They are rustic, with signs of wear and tear, though made to order they are distressed to achieve that, well, shabby appearance!
These are commissioned journals, where I'm given creative freedom to design a unique journal just for you. I ask for a color palette you prefer and then holding you in Sacred Space I allow my creative juices to flow and channel your unique Soul Journal...a lovely treasure to hold your thoughts, sketches, poems, secrets, whatever moves you to put in it.
Handmade 9x6, long stitch bound, canvas covered journal, with my original mixed media art cover, made with acrylics and ink sprays. Bound with Hemp cord and filled with 6 signatures, total of 120 pages of 140 lbs watercolor paper. The signatures (groups of paper) are sewn in intentionally spaced apart so it doesn't matter how much you put in it, it's capable of expanding without buckling. It's three fold with flap and ribbon closure to adjust as it expanse. Various fibers and glass bead accents used to accent.
